DAY 02: Athirapally -75kms -2hrs drive, Experience the wildness of Athirapally and Vazhachal Waterfalls

You need to be prepared to have your breath stolen away by the stunning beauty of the falls. What makes it even more special is the fact that it’s the highest waterfall in the state and the sight and the sound of the water plunging down the hill is most likely to be music to your ears. DAY 03: Munnar- 220kms- 6 hrs drive, Experiance the regal tea estates, boat cruises, echo point

DAY 04: Explore Munnar- Echo Point, Mattupettu, Kundala Dam and Lake, Nilgiri Tahr, Eravikulam National Park, Nayamakkadu Waterfalls

You could spend your day around the sites of Munnar, enjoy the crisp air around the tea estates, check out Echo Point, Mattupettu Dam, Kundala Dam and Lake and savor the worthy photo capture moments at Photo Point. If you’re looking for a chance to catch the famed Nilgiri Tahr, then Eravikulam National Park would be the place for you or you could see some elephants at the Elephant Arrival Point. You can also spend some time at Mattupetty Dam as well or perhaps have fun at Nayamakkadu or Lakkom Waterfalls.

DAY 05: Thekkady -100kms 3 hrs drive, Experience Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, Lake

Your Journey begins to Thekkady /Periyar /Kumily India’s largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting Kerala. The Periyar Tiger Reserve, one of the best parts of visiting a wildlife zone in the state. Thekkady conjures images of wild elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. The Periyar forests in the area are one of the finest wildlife reserves in the country. The sheer number of the wealth in these forests is staggering. With a whopping 1965 flowering plants that include 171 grass species and 143 orchid species is what constitutes this great treasure house of flora. The number of fauna is even more intimidating and they include 35 species of mammals which includes the Tiger, the Asian elephant, sambar deer, the Indian bison, Indian wild dog, leopard, smooth-coated otter which can be sighted during a boat cruise in the Periyar Lake. DAY 06: Alleppey -165kms - 4hr drive, Cruise through the backwaters having traditional houseboat lunch

After breakfast, its goodbye to Thekkady and hello to Alleppey – the Venice of the East. The shores, washed by the silvery waves of the Arabian Sea, lay in wait for you to set on your next journey across the famous Houseboats of Alleppey. Setting out at noon, this cruise lets you enjoy the beautiful villages, paddy fields, shoreline based churches, temples and the day-to-day life of the local folk, who would almost always be busy with their catch of the day.
